Check Out Arnold Schwarzenegger’s New Hummer H1 EV

Kreisel Electric has teamed up with Arnold Schwarzenegger to unveil the world’s first electric Hummer H1.

Presented at the opening of the company’s new research and development center in Austria, the electric H1 was created in just two months and features a 100 kWh battery pack. The battery powers two electric motors which give the model all-wheel drive as well as a combined out output of 490 PS (360 kW). This enables the 3,300 kg (7,275 lbs) off-roader to have a range of approximately 300 km (186 miles) and a top speed of up to 120 km/h (74 mph).

Kreisel Electric co-founder Markus Kreisel said the company will “certainly not mass-produce these models” but the H1 is a “powerhouse in wolf’s clothing” that “drives so quietly even the sheep are not disturbed.”

Schwarzenegger was certainly excited as he remarked “Kreisel Electric electrified my G-class last winter. And now a Hummer. If Kreisel keeps it up at this pace, I will soon be able to fly here from L.A. in an electric airplane.”

Besides unveiling the electric H1, Kreisel opened its new development and manufacturing center which spans 75,347 square feet. The facility includes a prototype workshop as well as a completely automated manufacturing line for battery storage devices.

Aww did Arnie say something mean about Trumpie?

      • Thule B

Trump is a buffoon too. In case you missed it, Arnie is a card-carrying member of the same party that Trump is. Do the math. They’re ALL idiots.

I wonder if mr. “I’ll-be-back” realises how much rare earth metals were used to electrify his G-klasse and H1….

    • DR.FUNK

As compared to the rare earth metals used in internal combustion vehicles?
Your abstract fear mongering will have zero effect on the reality that motor vehicles are in a full blast sprint away from fossil fuel power…but you’l adapt. Trust.

      • TheHake

Whoopee… can’t wait for the day that lawnmowers replace proper cars with great sounding engines. NOT! The future looks sterile and bleak.

        • DR.FUNK

I’m more than ok without the acoustic arousal…and even more ok with the fewer moving parts & myriad toxic fluids that will no longer have to be maintained / replaced.Often at ridiculous mark-up. I’m sure someone will come up with an “audio signature” for those who need to “feel it”. It’ll be no different in effect than the acoustic adjustment that comes with some high end internal combustion cars now.

          • TheHake

No fake audible trash will make up for the sound of a proper engine. I’m too much of a petrolhead to look forward to the lawnmower age. There’s absolutely nothing better than combusting dead dinosaurs.

Arnie is ecologic again… this time with Humvee. Before it was G class, or Unimog.

Great job with fighting climate change Arnie!

  • Jay

Yea well Tesla would’ve given him falcon doors and the ability to spontaneously combust.
