Ever since the launch of the P1, McLaren has been on an absolute roll, producing some of the finest supercars and sports cars on the market.

Among the best is the 570GT. Introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016, the 570GT is a slightly more comfortable and spacious version of the 570S. What’s more, it is the best-looking vehicle in the Sports Series range and as Chris Harris describes, is definitely the pick of the bunch.

Sitting at the heart of the 570GT is the company’s familiar 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 that delivers 562 hp. That’s enough grunt to put the car on a similar playing field to the Porsche 911 Turbo but unlike the Porsche, the 570GT looks like a proper supercar and thanks to its rear-wheel drive, is much more enjoyable to drive than Porsche’s all-wheel drive missile.

Visually, it’s hard not to consider the GT better looking than the S courtesy of its large glass decklid that flows seamlessly off the roof.

In the U.S., prices for the 570GT start at just over $190,000. Do you think it’s worth that much?
