If you’re gearing towards buying the new Forza 7 or Gran Turismo Sport, perhaps you should hold off and consider Project Cars 2 as well.

We already knew from the first driving impressions that Project Cars 2 represents a major improvement over the first installment. From the new career mode to the realistic driving physics and smarter AI, this game looks properly entertaining.

One major benefit, according to IGN, is that you can enjoy Project Cars 2 at its fullest even if you’re playing on a Controller instead of a wheel, which was never the case with the original title.

Other things that stood out over the course of this review were how realistic the cars looked while going ’round corners, and how amazing they sounded – that supercharged V8-powered Jaguar at the end of the video roared like the real thing.

In the end, playing this game on a PC will definitely yield the best possible graphics, although you’ll need an extremely powerful setup in order to get the most out of it.

If you’re tempted to make Project Cars 2 your go-to racing sim video game after watching this review, know that you’re probably not alone.
