Bespoke Pagani Zonda PS 760 Damaged In British Crash

The one-off Pagani Zonda PS 760 has been damaged after crashing on the A27 motorway in the UK.

Images uploaded to Instagram show that the front fascia of the Italian hypercar has been torn off and skidded across to the side of the road. Additionally, the hypercar appears to have sustained some hefty damage to the rear, judging by the skewed angle that the rear wing and shark fin now rest.

It is reported that the crash occurred on the way to a Saywell Track Day, organized by the vehicle’s owner, Peter Saywell.

The 760 PS is one of the most famous Zondas ever built and was one of the first to adopt unique styling different than a typical Zonda. The most significant change between it and a regular Zonda F were the four tailpipes, situated horizontally rather than in a square shape like every other Zonda.

A few years ago, Saywell had Pagani overhaul the car into 760-specification, replacing all of the exterior body panels and turning it a bright shade of blue.

Unfortunately, it’ll have to go back to Pagani’s factory for repairs before hitting the roads once again.

  • THESE SO CALLED SUPER/HYPER CARS ARE SO DELICATE. THEY SEEM TO CRUMBLE AT THE SLIGHTEST PROVOCATION.

I’m pretty sure that’s supposed to happen. Carbon fiber shattering into a thousand pieces and whatnot.

The title reads as if it is a British style.

Oh look, another one off Zonda. How cute. Oh, it crashed? Meh. Pagani will just rebuild it and upgrade it even more. We’ll see it on this website in another year or two from now.

    No big deal.

The A27 isn’t a motorway – just a dual carriageway trunk road (at that point anyway, large sections of the A27 are single carriageway). There is an M27 motorway, which connects to the A27, but from what I’ve heard locally this accident occurred on the A27 near Fontwell, not the M27.

I hope the AMG engine in the rear is unhurt! 😀

Always sad to see a Zonda go.
