Formula E Racer Drives DS E-Tense Concept Through London Shopping Mall

The DS E-Tense is one of the most remarkable concept cars revealed in the past few years and while there’s little chance of it reaching the production line, DS is continuing to use it for promotional purposes, recently with the help of Formula E driver Sam Bird.

Currently, Bird’s DS Virgin Racing Formula E car is on display at the Westfield shopping mall in London and the clip shows him jumping behind the wheel of the E-Tense, also on display, and meandering through the mall for some inexplicable reason.

The video ends with Bird driving the new DS 7 Crossback around the mall’s carpark before hitting the streets in the eye-catching SUV.

Everything about the clip is strange but it does beautifully highlight the design of the bright green E-Tense, complete with its futuristic swiveling headlights, gaping-wide front grille, and stunning bodywork.
