The other two grades add full LED headlights, 18-/19-inch wheels, ventilated front seats, powered tailgate, Blind Spot Detection with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and GT-S-only Brembo brakes, and electronic suspension with five modes and variable gear ratio steering, among others.

Both the GT-Line and GT-Line Scan be had with either a 2.0-liter four-cylinder T-GDi engine, rated at 244hp, or a 2.2-liter CRDi diesel that makes 197hp, and returns up to 50.4 UK mpg (42 US mpg / 5.6 l/100 km), while the GT-S is powered by a 3.3-liter V6 T-GDi engine, rated at 365hp. I understand they can’t give these cars away after all the work they put into it but I was hoping they would be about $3k to $4k USD less. Still it’s a lot of bang for the buck. The problem in the USA is going to be dealership markup on the prices. If KIA dealerships mark up the price too much, no one is going to buy it because it will approach the price of a nicely equipped Audi S5 or BMW 3/4 or Merccedes C class.
