One-Off 1969 Ford Mustang Is An eBay Steal

A unique 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 has popped up on eBay and is bound to raise the eyebrows of a few enthusiasts.

While the seller claims that there’s no other ’69 Mustang like this, Barn Finds notes that the only feature differentiating this Mustang from every other similarly-specced example are the optional intermittent window wipers. So, it may not be a true one-off but it does have an interesting history.

The muscle car has 51,000 miles on it and the seller says that it’s been parked for the past 47 years, the last 25 of which were in a “controlled environment”.

Sitting under the Mustang’s Shaker Hood is Ford’s 390-4V V8 engine delivering approximately 320 hp through a four-speed transmission. The car also has bucket seats, air conditioning and is painted in a stunning color dubbed Acapulco Blue.

At the time of writing, the muscle car had a highest bid of $29,100 but the reserve had yet to be met.

Maybe Im reading the Marti report wrong but it looks like the most rare options were the engine/transmission combo but still almost 1,000 (881 to be exact) of those were made. so the ad should read 1 of 881.

the bidders that posted $29,100 or below, are pipe dreaming. this is worth easily 60 grand+

    • BUY IT NOW IS ONLY $45,000.

  • “optional intermittent window wipers”

Very bad pictures, does’t do any justice to the car.

    A 390??? I thought 69 Mach 1’s came with a 428 CJ… And I thought 390’s sere done in 1968… I guess I was wrong…

hhmmm… did some research and indeed there was a 390…

    Beautiful car and reasonably priced

A close ratio 4-speed with 3.00 to 1 gears?? Whoever ordered this didn’t understand cars. I had a ’70 Mach 1 with a 3.25 and a close ratio (also poorly optioned), it did about 60 mph in first gear. The close ratio was best for 3.90 or 4.11 gears
