Rallycross star and former Top Gear host Tanner Foust is working with Volkswagen to create a custom Atlas for the SEMA Show.

Teased on social media by the successful racing driver, we can see that the bespoke Atlas will receive upholstery inspired by the Golf GTI.

Furthermore, images of the vehicle’s rear quarter panel confirm that LGE-CTS Motorsports, the company bringing the project to life, will fit a set of flared wheel arches, perhaps suggesting that the SUV will be more off-road focused than usual.

While the vehicle won’t be revealed until SEMA kicks off, we do have an ultimate wish for what we’d like to see. Snow tracks.

Unlikely? Most definitely. But, it would be pretty awesome.
