These Are All The Cars And Classes Of Gran Turismo Sport

Shortly after the full car list for Gran Turismo Sport was announced, Sony and Polyphony Digital have released a clip that details the cars that will be available and the host of different classes which they’re broken into.

All up, the new game offers a total of 162 cars split into six different classes, the first of which is dubbed Group N and is restricted to standard road cars. These vehicles are then split into the N100, N200, N400, N500, N600, N700, N800 and N1000 divisions depending on how much power they have, ranging from 100 hp all the way to 1,000 hp.

Among the road cars available in these divisions include the Mazda MX-5 Miata, Peugeot RCZ, Acura NSX, Lamborghini Veneno and Ferrari LaFerrari.

The second class in the game is Group 4. As the name suggests, it is home to a range of cars which compete in GT4 championships. Similarly, the Group 3 class consists of GT3-spec race cars while the Group 1 class is restricted to LMP2 and LMP1 prototypes.

The final two classes are Group B and Group X. Group B is home to rally-tuned racers while Group X is where some of the most staggering Vision Gran Turismo concepts can be found, including the Chevrolet Chaparral 2X, Hyundai N 2025 and Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo.

GT Sport will launch in North America on October 17 and include 19 circuits and 27 different track layouts.

Played the demo once and I gave up. It’s just so bland. The M3 sounded like a miter saw with a dull blade cutting through oak.

    Nothing like Gran Turismo 4…

  • HaltestelleLuitpolthafen

    Gran Turismo is boring now.

I say this as someone who bought every generation of the Playstation JUST for GT starting in 1997. While the physics are better than Forza, Forza just feels more complete.
