Unique Project Sees Vilner Boost Abarth 595’s Sporty Character

After getting their hands on an Abarth 595, art studio Vilner decided to enhance the car’s Italian theme and make this sporty 500 look more distinguished.

For starters, the Italian tricolor theme found outside has been continued inside the car as well. We’re talking about the longitudinal stripe located on the left side of the car of course.

“This stripe is on the left side because 99% of the time the owner sits on the driver’s side of his car. So there is no point to make such a unique design element and to hide it away from him, placing it on his seat and floor mat,” said Atanas Vilner himself.

That’s not to say that those floor mats aren’t impressive in their own right. They feature ‘corrugated’ Alcantara, asymmetrically broad areas in leather on the outer edges, ‘595’ embroideries executed with high precision, and of course the Italian tricolor.

The Bulgarian tuner actually kept the original seat’s surroundings and made new central sections that are styled similarly to the floor mats. Other notable interior features are the black Alcantara-wrapped central console, red seat belts and custom door panels with the Italian flag on the bottom side of the armrests.

Outside the car, apart from the Tricolor stripe, Vilner also added custom door graphics, an “Abarth” stripe on the top of the windshield, and a red/white checkered flag out back. Last but not least, there’s an optional ‘Record Monza Abarth’ exhaust system to make the car sound more aggressive.

Unfortunately no other performance mods were added, which means this Abarth 595 continues to put down 145 PS and 206 Nm (152 lb-ft) of torque thanks to its turbocharged 4-cylinder 1.4-liter engine.
