Vilner Unveils Bespoke Tramontana With Gold Accents

The interior specialists at Vilner have created a modified Tramontana XTR and unveiled the vehicle at the recent SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

Keen supercar enthusiasts will be familiar with the Tramontana name but many other won’t be. In short, Tramontana is a Spanish automaker that fused the worlds of supercars and jet fighters to create one of the wildest creations on four wheels. It’s unclear if the company is still building vehicles but the XTR pictured looks just as wild as the vehicle rendered some five years ago.

Vilner started off with a blank canvas and started its modifications by painting the Tramontana matte black. Next, it applied a plethora of gold accents to the supercar’s exterior to make it look like a spaceship from a far-away planet.

Inside, the gold theme continues with bright trimmings applied to the seats, steering wheel, speaker surrounds, dials and gauge cluster. The results are one-part intriguing and three-parts tacky.

Well, last time i checked, i have only one butt, so a two seater wont work for me now specially that robin has been dead for long time now. lool .

  • OMG I must admit that I like this.

  • wait a minute

Great for driver, passenger stuck with view of drivers seat back. The design is dramatic, takes some getting use to, wonder if they’ve done a single seater; might make more sense of the configuration.

One of the ugliest cars ever when seen in real life. It’s HUGE and UGLEEEE.

    • CarCzarDesigner

One of the reasons its so ugly is because it had to meet Uncle Sam’s requirements to be street legal. This is one of those vehicles where the audience is either going to hate it or love it. Because it is so unique & a head turner, I think most people will love it.

      • TheHake

It certainly is unique… but not in a good way. Everyone I talked to there agreed that it was not a successful design at all.

        • CarCzarDesigner

I agree. Trying to turn a current Formula One design into a street legal vehicle is an undertaking and pretty much a bad idea. That is because so many compromises have to made to meet Government regulations, it is silly. This is a prime example. No, I was speaking about those who aren’t car enthusiasts and would see this as just something different or fun.

It is a very large car. I thought the nose could have been a little shorter. The craftsmanship was impeccable.
