Explore The 505HP Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio In 85 Images

Alfa Romeo just celebrated the new Stelvio Quadrifoglio with an international media drive.

The Italian car maker has also released an extensive image gallery from the event that allows enthusiasts to catch yet another glimpse into the brand’s range-topping SUV model.

Named after a famous mountain pass in northern Italy, and one of the greatest driving roads the world has to offer, the range-topping model is a true game changer for the FCA-owned brand, which pursues its first profit next year after almost two decades.

Poised to arrive shortly in North America, where it will join two other grades, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio sports a more aggressive exterior design, in addition to some chassis tweaks, clever suspension and brakes and a range of driver assistance gizmos.

At its heart lies a 2.9-liter V6 engine shared with the Giulia Quadrifoglio, which delivers 505hp (512PS) and 443lb-ft (600Nm) of torque to the Q4 all-wheel drive system through an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Ferrari-derived powertrain and all of its mods allow it to cover the 0-60mph (96km/h) acceleration in 3.9sec and reach a top speed of 177mph (284km/h).

how do we get the guila quadrifolio into awd? or more awesomely into a wagon vs a cuv?

I cannot get into the fast suvs or cuvs…

  • lagunas3ca

Hell, why not just connect both the LED DRLs all the way across the front. Couldn’t look any more obnoxious than it already does when you see it oncoming or driving behind you.

Enough with the silly black wheels already!

    • LeStori

Red cars always look bad with dark coloured wheels. Yet some seem to like the bad brake dust look.

Yup. It’s 1992 all over again!

OMG! Everythime I see this car I just wanna cum! It’s such a masterpiece

  • Charles Lane

    it already looks dated

    • dragoneroscuro

Dated as BMW, Volkswagen and Audi

  • Overpriced and Lacks Features

Yes, but does it come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto? Another unfortunate aspect is Alfa Romeo’s pricing: too high to firmly reestablish AF back in the US market and for what they offer. Too bad as I like what AF is doing these days.

Stelvio we count on Apple car play, Android systems and all the security stuff hat you can immage. It was confirmed months ago

      • Overpriced and Lacks Features

There have been videos (yet unconfirmed if they are really from AF) and lots of talk of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto becoming available. Dealers here in the US will give you different answers, but really don’t know what’s coming. What’s worst is that there’s another engine (which will include a 48V electrical system) choice that will be available in the near future that is far better than what’s currently available. I’ve driven the Stelvio and like it, but it’s overpriced for its category. I would be interested in the 48V option when available and after AF has worked out all the bugs in the first runs. Plus, with Sergio all over the map on the future of FCA, I hesitate to purchase any AF. I also have to add that insurance is more costly for the Stelvio than most in its category. I wish AF luck in reestablishing itself in the US.

    amazing car !!!

The Stelvio looks so weird. Like a shortened and raised Giulia which is what it actually is but it has no elegance, no flow. At least other similar SUVs do.

I’d rather wait for the Dodge.
