I hate your White Privilege US! Your Ranger look’s better than ours…Even Though they’re the same…

    • The Watcher

What you gonna do about it huh? I’m currently in Cambodia right now, and those “ugly” Rangers running all over the place driving me nut…. I know the differences aren’t radical, but USDM Ranger is just better.

I don’t agree there. Our Australian/rest of the world models look better – less American and with less chrome. Might I add, the current Ranger is getting reasonably old now and the US is only just getting it? They’ll keep this generation alive for much longer now, no doubt!

I figured. This does not look like a new gen product. Ford cheaped out here. Should have went all out since we haven’t had a Ranger for years and this is their chance to really impress.

Yes. Rest of the world’s lives matter!

        no only black!

        • TheHake

          Oh right… my mistake. Sorry.

Good to see the orange from the Wildtrack made the cut.

  • Craig

Hey look at that! You can get it in white AND in white!! lol That said…. I like it. I like it because it’s a nice, simple design. Not everything has to be in-your-face. [Seriously]

So we finally get the global Ranger with one mediocre engine. Yea for us!

    • LWOAP

Ford is giving us the short end of the stick.

    • Zandit75

Having the engine from the Mustang and Focus doesn’t sound mediocre to me, it’s a huge improvement over the diesels we get here in Australia. I drive the Mazda BT-50 with the 5cyl Turbo Diesel. It’s got great torque, but it certainly is not a refined engine to drive.

The 2.3 Ecoboost is a high revving engine that is probably better suited to sport/performance applications than to towing and payload. The Focus RS with the 2.3 Ecoboost seems to be having issues with head gaskets and warped blocks causing coolant leakage. Ford most likely has a fix in place but many won’t be willing to chance it.

        Hi E!

  • Bash

Wow, “available in 8 different colors” that’s it!!! lol

    • Zandit75

      How many do you want?!!

      • Bash

It was a sarcasm my friend, the heading could have mentioned new technology or anything more important than colors!
I didn’t know i have to spoon feed you! lol

        • Zandit75

Haha, nah all good! At least there is a variety of “different colours” in this range. Mostly we get silvers in several different hues!!

  • SteersUright

The interior could easily look a whole lot nicer. Looks cheap where it could look classy, given how nice a base VW looks inside these days. That said, the Ranger is still nicer than the inside of the hideously tacky Chevy Colorado interior.

  • Maxime01

Why is the 2019 Ranger for North America exactly the same as the 2015 Ranger worldwide??? We basically skipped all the model updates since model-year 2001 to get an old design ”update” 4 years late…
