I actually like this a lot. I hope they bring this redesign to the States. I know it’s basically just a Lexus GX with a Toyota face, but it honestly is the best of both designs. I think it looks more athletic and lighter than the current Land Cruiser offered here.

    • Bo Hanan

Agree with you 100%! I’ll take the “Invincible” in that blue color.

    • Bash

I think it’s the other way around, this came first and the Lexus GX came after.

      • PhilMcGraw

I did research it after I posted that comment and did find out that you are correct. I was thinking this was a regular Land Cruiser and not a Land Cruiser Prado. Although it does look like the first gen GX came out at the same time that the Prado 3rd gen was made. I wish we had the Prado in the U.S. as another Toyota model instead of just having the larger Land Cruiser that we do have.

  • Six Thousand Times

    Ugly. Still want.

  • TrevP

Looks way better than the GX imo.

  • Emoto

The front reminds me of a Grand Cherokee and the rear fender of an Xterra. Am I the only one who sees that?

    • Belthronding Tinuviel

      Yes you are

      • Emoto

        lol

2.8d with 177HP? Are they nuts? No 4.0 for Europe? No 3.5? No hybrid? 12.7s 0-100km/h is just not serious. And diesel? When some cities ban them, the cruiser’s value will drop.

  • Thando_Gqabaza

    That isn’t a Land Cruiser, that’s a Prado (don’t tell the Poms)

    • Auer

Prado is also nice and very capable of offroading, but with a normal engine 4.0. Underpowered and unreliable 2.8 diesel is a joke.

    • TheHake

It’s called Land Cruiser all over Europe (and I’m sure some other places as well). The 200 is called the Land Cruiser V8.

      • Thando_Gqabaza

So can you buy the bigger one in Europe?

    • It’s actually a Land Cruiser Prado in full.

  • Ary Wisesa

Highly capable off-roader. I want it.

  • Looks soo much better than the 1st facelift.. surprised it has a 3-door variant..
