McLaren Makes 570GT Even More Performance-Focused With S Handling Pack

McLaren has decided to introduce a new S Handling Pack for the 570GT supercar, providing it with a very similar setup to the 570S.

Priced at £4,900 ($6,622), the S Handling Pack adds a set of stiffer springs, quicker steering, new uprights and actuators, and the same stability control settings as the 570S. Additionally, the 570GT S Handling Pack benefits from its sibling’s steering and damper software.

These changes see the suspension become 15 per cent stiffer at the front, 10 per cent stiffer at the rear, while the steering will become 2 per cent quicker. Last but certainly not least are the sticky Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, available as standard.

The British supercar manufacturer says it expects 60 per cent of all 570GT customers to opt for the S Handling Pack.

  • Nit Picking

Or is it actually a 570S with a GT greenhouse/hatch?

Actually come to think if they are claiming this is going to be the more popular choice I’d prefer Mclaren to offer it the other way round as the 540/570S GT (with the softer suspension setup as a seperate touring pack option).

  • Sure Mclaren, I’m sure the 60% are the non enthusiast who just want to tick all the “cool” boxes.
