Compared to the S63 and S65 versions of the car, the Mercedes-Benz S560 is certainly less extreme, though not slow by any means.

However, with Renntech’s ECU upgrade, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which normally makes 463hp and 516lb-ft (700Nm) of torque, or according to the tuner’s measures 484hp and 538lb-ft (729Nm) of torque, is now good for 584hp and 642lb-ft (870Nm) of torque.

The flagship saloon won’t break any speed records, but its 0 to 60mph (96km/h) acceleration time is now a respectable 4.25sec, an 0.35sec improvement, while the naught to 100mph (161km/h) sprint is done in 9.14sec. As for the quarter mile, it will run it in 12.42 seconds at 117mph (188km/h), 0.73sec faster than the stock S560.

Renntech also has some BOV adapters available for the W222 generation of the S560, as well as a carbon fiber-made decklid spoiler, and new Performance Series 21-/21-inch, or 21-/22-inch wheels, customizable with over 70 color options.

Finally, the tuner’s plug-and-play Hand-Held Suspension Module allows users to select the desired height adjustment within seconds. This system is said to come “without any wiring or extensive installation”.
