ABT have rolled out their latest cradle of goodies for the Audi SQ5, making it look more menacing.

The biggest update comes in the form of a wide body kit, which adds a front skirt, fender extensions, door strip attachments, a tailgate-mounted spoiler, and new diffuser at the rear.

Ingolstadt’s potent premium compact SUV welcomes two pairs of visible exhaust pipes, unlike the stock model’s hidden ones, along with coilover suspension springs that bring the ride 35 to 60mm (1.4-2.4in) closer to the road.

A set of 22-inch alloy wheels round up the list of updates on the outside, however customers can still choose smaller 20- and 21-inch options, in different patterns and with TUV certification.

In the cockpit, this Audi SQ5 features a special start-stop button, an ABT gearstick cover made from carbon fiber, and other “additional extras”, according to the tuner, including the optional entrance light.

This isn’t ABT’s first encounter with the Audi SQ5, as they already modded the 3.0-liter V6 engine last summer. The unit normally makes 354PS (349hp) and 500Nm (369lb-ft) of torque, but with the tuner’s help, it’s now good for 425PS (419hp) and 550Nm (406lb-ft) of torque.

So, would you say this is more appealing than a stock SQ5?
