Guns Were Fired During This Hit And Run Shootout In Thailand

The driver of a silver pickup managed to make an unlikely escape, despite being boxed in and surrounded by multiple gun-toting adversaries.

This incident too place earlier this week in Rayong, Thailand, and according to the description of the video, the incident was drug related – although those are all the specifics we have, so feel free to speculate whether or not the guys with the guns were undercover officers or rival dealers.

Regardless, it was a very dangerous scene, one where civilians could have easily been injured, or worse. At first, bullets start flying towards the silver pickup in an attempt to immobilize the vehicle, which at that point was already dragging a scooter with its front bumper.

After seeing the footage multiple times, we’re leaning towards calling this a drug bust, since the guys with the guns seem more interested in taking the suspect alive. Despite so many pistols being aimed at the truck’s tires, the vehicle still couldn’t be stopped and eventually made its way down the street.

The video ends with the armed men chasing after the truck, and that’s unfortunately all we get. But since their vehicles were fully operational, we doubt the person driving the pickup managed to get very far.

Gun fire must be pretty common in Taiwan. No one seems disturbed by it AT ALL.
