Slammed VW T-Roc Is Transformed From Crossover To Hatchback

Some say that small SUVs are nothing more than raised hatchbacks, sometimes offered with four-wheel drive, and seeing this slammed Volkswagen T-Roc only makes their case stronger.

Fitted with a controllable air suspension by the Austrians at LowRider, the vehicle has completely given up on its initial purpose, looking more like a regular hatchback than a Nissan Qashqai/Rogue Sport challenger.

But equipping his VW T-Roc with a new suspension wasn’t enough for this owner, who then turned to Dotz for a new set of wheels. Name the CP5 Dark, these rims measure 8.5×20-inches, have an asymmetric five-spoke design and can be ordered in different other sizes, starting from 16-inch ones, which can be had from €126 ($155) each in Germany.

Throw in an eye-catching partial wrapping in a color called ‘Satin Sheer Luck Green’ and finish the brake calipers in red, and you have successfully transformed the SUV into a hatchback.

Yes, we know we already said that, but it’s hard to understand why the owner of this T-Roc didn’t go for a Golf in the first place, or better yet, its premium cousin, the Audi A3 Sportback – but to each, his own…
