It’s SUV Mayhem On The Grand Tour’s Episode 10

In episode 10 of The Grand Tour’s second season, the trio of Clarkson, Hammond and May travel to Canada in order to test the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, the Porsche Macan Turbo Performance Pack and the Range Rover Velar.

The Velar will be driven by James May, while Hammond and Clarkson will be in the Macan and the Stelvio, respectively. And yes, the fact that Captain Slow is in the least powerful vehicle here should come as no surprise.

While the SUVs will get to spend some time on a race track, their utilitarian side will be put to the test too, as the lads will embark on an epic drive across snow-covered mountains.

Sticking with the SUV theme, this episode will feature another segment where Clarkson will sample the Tesla Model X, the fastest-accelerating people-hauler in the world. He’ll put all that to the test in a drag race against an Audi R8 – and by the looks of it, he was extremely impressed with the Tesla.

Finally, for Celebrity Face Off, the show brought in two golf enthusiasts in Rory Mcilroy and, um, Paris Hilton. The two will race against time in a Jaguar F-Type in order to see which of them is faster behind the wheel.

Catch all the action this Friday, February 9 on Amazon Prime Video.
