Make no mistake, this is a real Bentley Continental GT that’s been upgraded with off-road goodies, resulting in a car we usually see only in wacky renderings.

Apparently, someone with deep enough pockets swallowed a brave pill and decided to create the ultimate luxury off-roader, using an original Conti GT as the basis.

The car you see in the pictures is offered for sale in Netherlands by Classic Youngtimers. It’s a 2004 Bentley Continental GT with 85,166km (around 53k miles) that has been converted to “Off Road” specification by the same dealership.

The conversion includes a fairly obvious lift by 3 inches, a modified air suspension and front stabilizer, including moving various components elsewhere to make more room in the wheel wells, custom fender flares and roof rack, LED roof lights, custom spare-wheel mount on the roof and more.

In addition, the car also features a custom rear skid plate, a modified exhaust for more decibels and horses and a matte black front grille.

Power comes from the factory-standard twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 that produces 552hp and 479lb-ft (650Nm) of peak torque. The permanent four-wheel drive system remains the same so that means that in theory you’ll get to enjoy all the effortless performance of the Conti GT even when the tarmac stops.

This Continental GT ‘Off Road’ is by far one of the most extreme Bentleys out there and we really dig the idea of blasting down the desert in it.
