Lincoln has used the New York Auto Show to announce a new luxury subscription pilot service which will offer users a selection of vehicles in West Los Angeles.

Like owning a car but without the hassle

The service allows clients to have a vehicle 24/7 and to use it as if it was their own. A range of 2017 pre-owned vehicles will be offered, expanding on the 2015 Lincoln vehicles currently available through the pilot in West Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Expanding this service isn’t the only thing Lincoln has been up to. With the unveiling of the Aviator, the automaker has created what it dubs as an holistic approach to make vehicle ownership effortless.

Lincoln SYNC is one of these services. It provides prompts on the digital cluster of the Aviator and displays all kinds of helpful information and offers appropriate actions to overcome certain situations.

Furthermore, Lincoln has announced that its Personal Driver program will be expanded to Dallas after a successful pilot in San Diego and Miami. Beyond offering users rides in their own Lincoln vehicle, drivers in the program can also assist owners in various other errands and engagements, such as airport transfers.

Of course, the most important Lincoln-related news to come out of New York has been the unveiling of the Aviator Concept. When it reaches production, the model will sit under the Navigator in Lincoln’s range but still promises exceptional luxury and a powerful twin-turbocharged plug-in hybrid powertrain.
