DMC has a tradition with McLaren that goes back to the MP4-12C, and since the Woking’s lineup now includes more models than ever, they have revealed their latest project.

It’s a McLaren 570S dubbed ’88’; or rather two of them, to be more precise, featuring the same visual and technical upgrades and being differentiated only by their exterior color.

The 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 was muscled up to produce 642PS (633hp) and 692Nm (510lb-ft) of torque. DMC claims that their 570S can go from 0 to 100km/h (0-62mph) in 3 seconds, or 0.2sec faster than the stock one, which has 570PS (562hp) and 600Nm (443lb-ft) of torque. Top speed has increased a bit, too, from the stock car’s 325km/h (202mph) to 335km/h (208mph).

A host of visual tweaks set their British sports cars apart from the regular models, such as the new carbon fiber-converted rear diffuser, side skirts and wing. Adding the latter doesn’t require any hole drilling as it comes attached to the new engine hood, which features even more bare carbon fiber.

There’s also a new exhaust system that’s said to provide “an amazing performance and sound”, and in the near future, the tuner promises new wheels too: 20-inch at the front and 21-inch at the rear, wrapped in 235 and 305 Pirelli P Zero tires, respectively.
