Honda has announced the pricing details of the 2019 Odyssey, which is already on sale on dealerships nationwide.

The fifth generation of the Honda Odyssey still holds the title of most popular minivan in America for eight straight years and wants to continue doing so for the 2019MY.

The entry price for the unchanged 2019 Honda Odyssey is now $31,065 (including $975 destination and handling charge), which is just a tad more expensive (by $175) than last year’s model.

Power comes from Honda’s 3.5-liter V6 with 280hp and 262lb-ft of torque, with customers able to choose between two different automatic transmissions: a nine-speed unit in the LX, EX, EX-L and EX-L Navi models and a ten-speed unit in the Touring and Elite models. Fuel economy figures remain the same on both occasions, at 19/28/22 mpg (city/highway/combined).

Standard equipment on EX and above trims includes Honda’s Sensing suite of safety systems, featuring Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist, Road Departure Mitigation and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Other features include CabinWatch that enables the driver and front passenger to view the second and third row passengers via a ceiling-mounted camera that projects the image in the eight-inch infotainment display, CabinTalk that enables the driver to talk to the second and third row passengers and a Rear Entertainment System with 10-inch, high-definition pair of displays with Blu-Ray and streaming video capabilities, among other.

EX models and above get Honda’s Magic Slide second row of seats that allow greater flexibility for optimal comfort and easier access to the third row. Magic Slide offers four different seating setups, including the removal of the center seat.
