If Batman Was A Farmer: Isuzu D-Max AT35 Ditches Chrome For A Stealthier Look

Following the reveal of the Nissan Navara AT32, Isuzu brought out a new limited version of its D-Max AT35 truck, called the Stealth.

Isuzu will offer just 10 of these blacked-out D-Max AT35s which had their chromework stripped away and instead feature roof bars, side steps, a radiator grille, fog light surrounds, rear bumper trim, door mirrors and badges all finished in black. Combined with the Cosmic Black Mica paintjob, the new Isuzu D-Max Stealth does exactly what it says on the tin.

Other features include a black rear sports bar and a matching mountain top roller cover, as well as a set of standard LED headlights, fog lights and two sets of lazer lights mounted on the front bumper and sports bar.

Inside the new Isuzu D-Max Stealth gets a bespoke leather upholstery, designed specifically for this model, as well as a nine-inch color touchscreen display and a nine-speaker audio system.

“Stealth is an exclusive pick-up with a striking presence. The new Stealth builds on the prowess of the Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35 and takes it to another level”, said William Brown, Managing Director for Isuzu UK.

If you have a black truck-shaped hole in your life, Isuzu will sell you one of the ten D-Max Stealth trucks for the price of £44,005 OTR in the UK.

Doublecab 4×4 trucks are LONG since not ‘farmer’ vehicles anymore. They are lifestyle choices and drive almost as well as a car. I wish more Europeans would understand that. Then maybe it will not be taxed to death as it is now.

    • Loquacious Borborygmus

*Cough cough* Maybe as well as those shitehawk pseudo crossover things but a car!?
      I’m not having that.

      • TheHake

Have you driven a recent truck like the Ranger, Amarok or Navara? You’ll be surprised. They are very capable and refined.

        • Loquacious Borborygmus

Very likely but they are trucks not cars.
They have their own unique appeal as sales show.

    • Yep, sort of alternative to Chelsea truck, but the owner would claimed that their vehicle can do off road, which they probably never do.

      • TheHake

DC 4×4 trucks CAN do off-road, believe me! I was amazed at the capabilities my humble trucks had.

        • I mean not the car capability, I mean the nature of it’s suburban owners who probably never take their cars off road but one time to brag to other people.

  • TrevP

Loving the look of this little truck! I think most little trucks look better than their bigger brothers

  • Very capable vehicles

Just left waiting for the Toyota press release of the facelifted Toyota Land Cruiser 150 AT35 and my fellow Carscoops readers you’ll have seen the whole UK range offered by Arctic Trucks!

    • Loquacious Borborygmus

      That Arctic’s on a roll.

  • Bash

Farmer or no, I’m ain’t driving an Isuzu. #justsaying

    • Whaaaa even cars like Piazza or 117 Coupe?

      • Bash

The Piazza is cool, but the 117 is not – to me-.

        • Fair enough, the sleeping beauty is not for everyone (In Japan the car is called Sleeping Beauty due to number of time that Isuzu takes to bring the car from concept into production)

Oh, ok. I just found it a bit strange.

  • SteersUright

Keep all the mega-off-roaders coming!! Loving it!

  • Wow isn’t like third news of this week to talk about Arctic Trucks?
