Things turned bad in a split second for a BMW M4 Convertible, which was apparently trying to keep up with a Lamborghini Huracan.

Filmed during a car meet in the Netherlands, the two-door sports car can be seen missing the right turn and going for an unintended off-road adventure.

Thankfully, everyone walked away from the incident, but as far as the BMW M4 is concerned, it needed some ad-hoc repairing before getting back on the road. But, hey, there isn’t anything that can’t be fixed with duct tape, right?

The temporary repair held the rear bumper in place, but it couldn’t be used on the front apron, which was completely ripped from the car. Besides the required visit to the plastic surgeon, this BMW M4 Convertible is going to need a mechanical inspection, too, and a proper hosing, to get rid of the mud and grass.

Also, the driver might be better off with a front- or all-wheel drive vehicle as his next ride, so we would suggest checking out the new Audi RS5 Coupe. It’s 19PS (19hp / 14kW) and 50Nm (37lb-ft) of torque more powerful than the BMW M4, and takes only 3.9sec to reach 100km/h (62mph), before maxing out at 280km/h (174mph) with the Dynamic Package.
