After splitting ways with Wheeler Dealers, everyone’s favorite mechanic Edd China makes a return with a new show called ‘Garage Revival’.

The concept behind Edd’s new show is pretty straightforward: the tall mechanic will work directly with car owners whose projects have stuck and help them get their plans back on track.

For the pilot episode of ‘Garage Revival’, Edd will travel all the way up to Norway to help put a VW Golf GTI Mk1 back on the road. The episode will contain a lot of wrenching as you would expect, with Edd showing us what it takes to bring the father of hot hatches back to its former glory.

It has been over a year since Edd China left Wheeler Dealers after 14 years of service, with his old show replacing him with Ant Anstead. This move made a lot of fans of the show angry at the time, leading to some people even harassing Mike Brewer over the matter.

Edd China’s Garage Revival is set to air on May 1 on YouTube but there’s no information yet if the show will remain on the platform or is gunning to be picked up by a TV network.
