When we first caught wind of a two-door Range Rover we were ecstatic. It would mark the return of a historic vehicle and be a good competitor to high-end SUVs on the market.

With a starting price tag of $295,000, Range Rover has ensured that the SV Coupe is definitely upscale. Unfortunately, it’s price and limited count of 999 units globally, you probably won’t see one on the road.

But that’s where superspeedersRob saves the day with this walk-around of the SUV. For readers that missed out on information from the New York Auto Show, the SV Coupe made its North American debut at the show, stunning those that could get past its obscene price.

The SUV is based off of the SV Autobiography Dynamic and was developed by Land Rover Design and SVO (Special Vehicle Operations). With its drop-dead good looks and supercharged 5.0-liter V8, the SV Coupe naturally slots onto the top of Range Rover’s lineup as the brand’s flagship model.

Now, if you’re not familiar with the YouTuber, he’s very straightforward and immediately goes to town by making fun of the rose gold-colored badges and the engine’s fuel economy. He also questions the helpless Range Rover spokeswoman on hand on how many baby seals died in the creation of the vehicle. That joke didn’t land with the spokeswoman.

It may seem like he’s being really rude, but we’re going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he’s trying to point out how absurd the machine is. Yes, it’s gorgeous. Yes, the interior is handsome and looks incredibly comfortable. But $295K for a two door SUV? Even the Bentley Bentayga and Lamborghini Urus are cheaper – well, at least when it comes to their starting MSRPs.

The SV Coupe’s definitely a statement, but is it worth nearly $300,000? I’m not so sure.
