The 2019 Aston Martin Vantage is still a fairly new car, with the first official images having been released in November of 2017. Now, owners are starting to receive their cars and more and more Vantages are being spotted in traffic.

This of course gives us the chance to better gauge the car’s overall aesthetic, seeing it surrounded by normal, everyday vehicles. So far, there’s no other way to put it other than to admit that the new Vantage is a really aggressive car.

You could argue that it’s maybe not as elegant as the old one, though overall the British luxury brand did a great job of giving it a “keen dynamic edge and sharp look” – their words, not ours.

This dark blue example was caught on camera in Montreal, Canada, by spotter olivierlessard. If we had to make a calculated guess, we’d say that the exterior is covered either in Mariana Blue or Ultramarine Black (more blue than black).

Looks aside, the all-new Vantage is all about performance, thanks to its AMG-sourced twin turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 putting down 510 PS (503 HP) and 685 Nm (505 lb-ft) of torque with the help of an 8-speed ZF automatic. Factor in its dry weight of 1,530 kg (3,373 lbs) and you’ll understand why the new Vantage can rocket to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds, while its top speed is 195 mph (313 km/h).

Prices start at around $150,000 (in the U.S.), somewhere between what you’d spend on a Porsche 911 GT3 and a Turbo S.
