Images of the facelifted 2019 Audi TT have leaked online, showing the sports car in TTS guise with a host of subtle visual modifications.

These images, published by the tts_freunde.de Instagram page, confirm what spy shots had suggested; the car looks largely the same as the outgoing model. However, there are some changes, even if they require a little bit of time to notice.

Starting with the front, Audi’s designers have taken some inspiration from the range-topping TT RS model with the adoption of large air intakes complete with contrasting silver accents. Additionally, the front grille eschews its horizontal slates in favor of a design that adopts hexagonal shapes throughout.

This particular TTS, finished in a bright shade of blue, also sits on a set of new wheels and has silver accents under the side skirts and silver wing mirrors.

The rear has also been made to look a little more aggressive. As such, there are now small air outlets directly behind the rear wheel arches. Additionally, some small changes have been made to the bumper and diffuser. While we think the changes to the front are good, the rear does look a little fussy but we’ll reserve judgment until we see the car in person.

Beneath the revised bodywork, the facelifted 2019 Audi TTS will retain a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Audi will probably add a little power, meaning we can expect more than the 305 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque produced by the current model. The sprint from naught to 62 mph (100 km/h) should be dealt with in roughly 4.5 seconds.
