The Rezvani Tank is a pretty formidable beast and now the company is upping the ante by unveiling the new Military Edition.

Designed to handle virtually everything that is thrown at it, the Tank Military Edition has Ballistic Level 7 armoring which means it resist most common firearms as well as larger caliber rifles using 7.62x51mm ammo. If that wasn’t impressive enough, the SUV has also been equipped with gas masks and protection against bombs.

The protection focused design doesn’t stop there as the Tank also has “military run flat tires,” first aid kit kits and an intercom system which can be used to safety communicate with people outside the vehicle. Other features include strobe lights, a Kevlar-wrapped fuel tank and “blinding lights” which can apparently be used to disorient attackers.

To help cope with the added weight, the Military Edition has been equipped with a reinforced suspension. Customers can also order an optional supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 engine that develops 707 hp (527 kW / 716 PS). Unfortunately, the engine costs $65,000 which is actually more than the 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat which will start at $58,650 when it goes on sale this fall.

Buyers who would rather have the car and some extra money left over can stick with the standard engine. It is a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 developing 500 hp (372 kW / 507 PS).

Besides the Hellcat engine, the Military Edition can be equipped with an off-road package. It includes a 6 inch (15.2 cm) lift kit, FOX shocks and Dynatrac ProRock axles with electronic lockers.

The Tank Military Edition starts at $295,000 which is significantly more than the standard model that retails for $159,000. However, B7 armoring on the base Tank is a $97,000 option.
