McLaren has unveiled a limited-edition 570S Spider dubbed the Canada Commission to celebrate the marque’s Canadian history.

The 570S Spider Canada Commission comes courtesy of McLaren Special Operations and features a host of bespoke parts. The most eye-catching element of the supercar is the combination of a Silica White paint job and accents finished in red carbon fiber, making for the perfect color combination to celebrate the Great White North.

The unique touches don’t end here. MSO has designed a set of new 10-spoke lightweight forged wheels with a Stealth finish. The car also includes the (otherwise optional) Carbon Fiber Exterior Packs and MSO Defined Carbon Fiber accents. Wrapping up the exterior modifications are a small Canadian Maple Leaf accent on the rear decklid and red carbon on the front bumper and side air vents.

Inside, McLaren Special Operations has combined a bright red Alcantara roof liner with a red Alcantara steering wheel, red contrast stitching, and special badges denoting the vehicle as 1 of 5 to be built.

No changes have been made to the mechanical parts. Consequently, the British supercar is still powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 delivering 562 HP (570 PS) and 443 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque, enough to launch the car to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.1 seconds and through to an impressive 204 mph (328 km/h) top speed.

Three examples of the 570S Spider Canada Commission will be available for purchase through McLaren Toronto, while McLaren Vancouver and McLaren Montreal will get one each.
