Rimac Automobili brought the new C_Two electric hypercar to West Coast for the first time, with the display car sporting a new bright blue paintjob and newly designed wheels.

The California Edition C_Two also features a tailored luxurious trunk compartment that can fit not one but two six-liter champagne bottles and the necessary crystal flutes, celebrating the “vibrant atmosphere” of the Monterey Car Week events.

Rimac will host private previews at its estate over the course of the Monterey Car Week before joining the party over at The Quail on Friday August 24. The next day, the Rimac C_Two will head to Exotics on Cannery Row, where some of the world’s rarest supercars will be on display.

The C_Two is powered by an all-electric powertrain that features four electric motors for a combined 1,888hp (1,914PS) and 1696lb-ft (2,300Nm). All-wheel torque vectoring and a fully configurable all-wheel drive system are just some of the high-tech features of the impressive battery electric hypercar.

0-60mph (0-96 km/h) comes in a breath-taking 1.85 seconds and 0-100mph (0-160 km/h) in 4.3, while top speed is 258mph (412km/h). A massive 120kWh battery pack with liquid-cooled thermal management provides enough energy to travel 404 miles (650km) on a full charge.

Rimac is planning to build 150 examples of the C_Two hypercar at $2.1 million a pop. If you think that’s really limited, then let us remind you that the company’s original model, the Concept One, was built in just eight examples.
