Saleen Automotive is celebrating its 35th anniversary by introducing a limited edition Mustang called the SA 35.

Based on the 2019 Black Label Mustang, the SA 35 has an eye catching black exterior with yellow and white accents. The car has also been equipped with a ram air hood, a new front bumper and a small rear wing. Rounding out the exterior styling changes are new fenders, a sports exhaust system and mono-block forged aluminum wheels which are wrapped in General G-Max tires.

Saleen didn’t say much about the interior, but the sketch suggests the model will have black leather seats with white contrast stitching and a yellow stripe down the center. The tri-color design is also echoed on the door panels.

Additional changes are limited, but appear to include special floor mats, Saleen badging and a revised infotainment system with a Saleen splash screen.

Power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 engine that has been equipped with a supercharger. It enables the mill to produce 780 hp (581 kW / 790 PS) and 630 lb-ft (853 Nm) of torque.

While the car likely features an assortment of performance upgrades, the only other thing that Saleen mentioned was a Racecraft R Code suspension.

In a statement, Steven Saleen said “We were extremely proud to introduce the SA 35 to our friends, family and enthusiasts. It celebrates and validates the continuing success and longevity of the Saleen brand.”

There’s no word on pricing, but production will be limited to 10 units. The company has already built a prototype of the model and it was recently shown at their open house which took place earlier this month.
