Citroen is celebrating its 100th anniversary next year and the company has used the Paris Motor Show to tease two upcoming concepts which will celebrate the occasion.

The first concept will debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show in March. Citroen is staying tight-lipped about details, but hinted the model will show the brand’s “vision in terms of urban mobility.” That isn’t much to go on, but the teaser image suggests the concept will have an orange exterior with unique doors that are opened by pulling down on blue straps.

The second century concept will debut one month later at the 2019 Shanghai Motor Show in China. The mysterious model will embrace the idea of “ultra-comfort.” Little else is known about the concept, but it appears the model could be an autonomous vehicle judging by its roof-mounted sensors. Regardless, we can expect the concept to have a luxurious interior with plenty of high-tech features.

Besides the two new concepts, Citroen will celebrate its centennial with an assortment of events throughout the year. Things will kick off in February at the Retromobile show in Paris where the company will display a number of historic vehicles. Fans will also have another opportunity to check out classic Citroens at The Gathering of the Century (Le Rassemblement du Siècle) which starts on July 19th.

Besides showing classic vehicles, Citroen will launch a “dedicated special series” to mark their 100th anniversary. The company also has plans for an assortment of other events and details will be announced next year.
