According to the video posted at the bottom of the page, the answer is ‘very’. We’ll move on to the film in just a bit, but first, let’s see why the latest Audi RS4 Avant is so special.

The super wagon is in its fourth iteration. It is based on the B9 A4, to which it adds a modified chassis with sport suspension and enhanced steering. It can be fitted with ceramic brakes, Dynamic Ride Control and other optional extras that significantly transform the way it drives.

The current RS4 is powered by a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 with 450 PS (444 hp / 331 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. It’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which channels the output to the Quattro all-wheel drive system. Top speed is electronically capped at 250 km/h (155 mph), or 280 km/h (174 mph) with the optional RS Dynamic Package, and 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) takes just 4.1 seconds.

It’s obvious that Audi’s new RS4 Avant is just as quick as some of yesterday’s supercars. And that’s mind-blowing, given that it also has seating for five and a very generous boot capacity.

Now, back to the video posted by CarWow, which shows the Audi RS4 Avant B9 going up against a few of its predecessors. Among them, we find the first RS car ever, the RS2, as well as two of the most desirable generations: the B5 and B7.

The film starts with a couple of drag races, and then continues with a rolling start one. All of them have a clear winner, obviously, which is the latest RS4, but can you guess which of the older models came second?
