A brief trailer has been released of the new Amazon Prime series dubbed ‘The Gymkhana Files.’

The series will premiere on November 16 and focuses on the making of Gymkhana 10. The latest instalment in the famed Gymkhana franchise has yet to premiere but has been in the works for more than a year.

To ensure that Gymkhana 10 surpasses the other nine videos, Block will pilot five different all-wheel drive Fords in different locations and perform a wide array of incredible stunts. We know that Block’s 1400 hp Hoonicorn V2 will be featured. Other cars tipped to be included could be Block’s Ford Escort Cosworth and Ford RS200.

The Gymkhana Files will take you behind-the-scenes of how a Ken Block Gymkhana video is made.

If you’ve ever watched a Gymkhana film, you could be forgiven for thinking Block performs each stunt perfectly for the camera before the film crew stitches the clips together. In reality, it is a much more involved process than this, especially if Block crashes or damages one of the vehicles during filming.

There will be eight episodes of The Gymkhana Files shown on Amazon Prime. Gymkhana 10 will be released on December 7, the same day that the final episode of The Gymkhana Files premieres.

Since the release of Gymkhana 9 in 2016, Ken Block expanded the series with the release of Terrakhana and Climbkhana. The first of these two saw the rally driver doing a number of daring stunts in the desert. Climbkhana is even more incredible and involved Block drifting the Hoonicorn V2 up the Pikes Peak hill climb.
