Two SUVs Battle It Out In Ridiculous Road Rage Episode

Cutting someone off in traffic, while itself is rude, inconsiderate and not to mention, dangerous, should never degenerate towards something as ridiculous as this. The driver of the black Nissan crossover unfortunately had other plans.

The incident kicks off with the white Ford Explorer blatantly cutting off the Nissan, forcing its driver to ride the shoulder in order to avoid making contact. We have to admit, that was a pretty monumental gaffe, especially with such good visibility.

Yet, did it warrant what came next? We’d like to think not, especially since the two vehicles may have ended up colliding, something that possibly happened around the 2:03 mark of the video. The Nissan driver seems to be the aggressor, every step of the way – they even made sure to overtake the Explorer after the Ford managed to jump ahead briefly.

Eventually, the Explorer did manage to stop ahead of the Nissan by pulling off onto the shoulder, although that’s when the dashcam car began to lose sight of the action. Whether the two drivers got out of their cars and continued their altercation in a hand to hand manner is unknown.

What we do know is that the owner of the Tesla Model 3 called the police seconds after losing sight of the two SUVs. Should they have done so a lot sooner? Most definitely.

The action took place on Route 32 in Columbia, Maryland, where the fine for reckless driving can be anywhere from $510 to $1,000. Hopefully a judge will get to take a look at this footage and hand out the max.

  • TrevP

    Explorer is totally at fault

    • Bash

      I say both.

      • TrevP

True, that behavior is ridiculous behind the wheel, but the Explorer did cut into the Rogue’s lane making him swerve. Totally would have hit the Rogue had the Rogue not been paying attention, but yes, the Rogue driver went out of his way to continue this nonsense

        • Stephen G

Agreed! But where do you draw the line. If you let a douche bag like the guy in the Explorer get away with this kind of behavior he will learn that’s it’s acceptable and continue doing it.

        • Bash

Yep yep, I agree, I give it 60% fault for the ford driver, 40% the Nissan driver.

          • brn

I’ll go the other way. The Ford driver screwed up. The Nissan driver waaaaaaay over reacted and took it to another level.

    • Jay

The Nissan didn’t have to carry on for so long either..

    • kachuks

Whatever happened to honking at each other then flipping the bird?

  • Bash

    Plain stupid.. and for what!!

  • charlie bear

Endangering people life is a big deal. someone should report theses two a**holes.

  • B. D.

Aside from being incredibly dumb on both sides, I’m just a little disappointed that the driver of the 3.5 V6 Ford Explorer couldn’t outrun a Nissan Rogue with a 4 banger and a lousy CVT transmission

    • Craig

      lol – that’s what I was thinking!

    • brn

When it came to raw power, the Ford seemed to have the advantage. The problem was they couldn’t both occupy the same space.

    • DetrinKD

      EXACTLY!! Lol.

  • It’s going to be so boring with all the auto-pilot cars. Need to teach them AI’s how to have fun!

  • LJ

That Rogue driver is an asshole. The Explorer did cut him off, but it didn’t appear to be on purpose, and it also appears that the Rogue unnecessarily swerves to be dramatic.

    • DetrinKD

No. They knew exactly what they were doing. You can tell by how quickly they changed lanes they saw the Rogue coming but decided to jump over anyway.

  • ctk4949

I like the BEEZZZZ license plate, lol

  • Tydogg123 .

Reminds me of my two boys fighting. They’re 2 and 4.

    • db

Maybe they were two girls fighting?

  • Socarboy

Both of those idiots should be charged with reckless driving 6-points against their licenses and triple insurance rates

  • dennisimperial

The Ford cutoff seemed inadvertent but the Nissan continued with more blatant aggression.

  • stupidity at its best!
