This year’s Essen Motor Show will feature a mildly customized version of the Suzuki Jimny, boasting new stainless steel components that are meant to give the three-door crossover a slightly more rugged off-road appearance.

The components, specifically the brush guards and rocker panel guards, can be had either with a matte black coating or a shiny chrome finish. Also available are aluminum running boards and auxiliary headlamps.

If the customer so chooses, they can have these components painted in both the color of the vehicle, as well as a contrasting color.

Cobra Technology & Lifestyle designers actually developed two different brush guards. The base version has a tube diameter of 60 mm (2.36 inches), although you can also opt for a slightly more elaborate variant with an additional crossbar measuring 42 mm (1.65 inches) in diameter, offering you extra protection.

Either of the two protective elements were designed to be mounted elastically and give in during a collision, resulting in their compliance with EU Directive 2009/78 on pedestrian protection.

Other mods include the previously mentioned auxiliary headlamps, with special brackets for attachment to the main bar or the crossbar, but also the rocker panel guards, which feature a tube diameter of 60 mm (2.36 inches) – available in either matte black or with a chrome finish, just like the stainless steel running boards.

All these products feature a 24-month limited warranty with unlimited miles.
