This car has not aged well..

    • designer_dick

It hasn’t aged well because it looks like a 25 year old Honda Accord. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/ad34c3e0b55eb94dd41b69c3fcdd805808ed73782cdd05da1df584f030c09b21.jpg

It’s was cool the first couple of years then it just looked bland afterwards.. I remember everyone used to have positive things to say about the design .. I think it’s time for a complete redesign .

There’s a sharp, almost Japanese edge to the design that doesn’t sit well on a Jaguar, and leaves it looking rather lightweight and insubstantial compared to the rounded, fulsome surfaces of the first XF. The XE, E-Pace and F-Pace largely manage to avoid the effect thanks to rounder, less slab-sided flanks, and all three look the better for it.

    I prefer the estate.

But it’s still very expensive, i’ll prefer to take an E-class for the same price.

    • Jason Panamera

In terms of price It is not that bad in Europe.

    • designer_dick

In the UK, the basic E-Class saloon costs £3,115 more, and the estate costs £2,675 more, so you could say that the XF represents something of a value proposition in the executive class.

I love Jags but they should put more effort in built quality and interior design/technology if they want to stop their sales from going totally down.

  • EM1

They need to go back to the classier designs instead of these Infiniti like knckoffs

  • Bo Hanan

“Checkered Flag Edition” = old design, new one not ready yet and need to clear inventory.

  • I LIKE THE DASH. THE SCREEN IS INTEGRATED AND THE AIR VENTS ARE UP TOP WHERE THEY BELONG. EXTRA POINTS FOR THE CD SLOT. NO COMPRESSED MP3’S FOR ME.

    What a dismal, nothing car.
