A new S Edition model now sits atop of Renault’s ZOE range in the UK, equipped with features such as a BOSE stereo system with DAB radio, a reversing camera, leather and textile seats, driver’s seat with lumbar adjustment and a choice of either 16″ Black Shadow alloys or 17″ Black Optemic wheels.

Pricing starts from £19,270 OTR ($25,197), Plug-in Car Grant included, and orders can be placed effective immediately, although first deliveries won’t begin until April.

The extra gear goes on top of what you already get on a ZOE Dynamique Nav model, which means you also benefit from a hands-free key card, rear parking sensors, automatic wipers and lights, climate control and a leather steering wheel and gear knob.

Also standard are the front and rear electric windows, electric, heated and folding door mirrors, voice-controlled sat-nav and a 7-inch touchscreen display.

Meanwhile, the Z.E. Connected Services allow for features such as remote charging, the monitoring of your charge status and pre-conditioning, the latter meaning that you can pre-set the temperature in the car so that it’s nice and warm/cool for when you get in.

The £19,270 price tag is for the ZOE S Edition R110 version, although if you want faster battery charging, you should opt for the £20,020 ($26,178) Q90 spec, giving you 80% charge in 65 minutes with a 43 kWh charger. While both models use a Z.E. 40 battery and have the same 186 mile (300 km) WLTP-rated range, the R110 motor has an extra 19 HP for improved performance.
