After unveiling five China-only MSO Cabeen Collection 570GT models last year in April, McLaren is now bringing a sixth and final car of the limited edition series to the U.S, aimed at buyers who appreciate distinctive Chinese design elements.

The car was on display this past Friday at the annual Lunar New Year celebration in Beverly Hills, where it will also go on sale exclusively through the automaker’s local dealer – McLaren Beverly Hills.

What’s special about it?

For starters, this 570GT in particular has a VIN number ending in 888888, in order to commemorate the Luna New Year: Year of the Pig.

It was created by MSO (McLaren Special Operations) together with Chinese fashion designer and entrepreneur, Mr. Cabbeen. It features an MSO Bespoke Obsidian Black paint and a hand-painted dragon design in Gloss Speedline Gold on both door inserts. Also available are the new 15-spoke GT wheels and the Gloss Speedline Gold brake calipers.

Inside, there are more sculptural dragons embroidered in gold on the Alcantara center front tunnel and the rear luggage deck, plus the MSO Defined Carbon Sill Covers.

Powering the McLaren 570GT is a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine, producing 570 PS (562 HP) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. In a straight line, it can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds, before maxing out at 328 km/h (204 mph). Compared to the 570S, the GT version features an extra luggage compartment and a softer setup.
