What were you doing at the age of nine? Perhaps you were obsessed with cartoons, still played with Hot Wheels models, and were enamoured by your first crush. We know we were. One thing you probably weren’t doing (nor we, of course) was burning tires in a powerful Mercedes-Benz.
However, that’s exactly what this nine-year-old did when he was handed the keys to his father’s C63 AMG.
The video, filmed somewhere in California, shows the youngster behind the wheel of the powerful sports sedan receiving some instructions from his father. With the knowledge of how to do a burnout fresh in his mind, the kid proceeds to light up the rear wheels and do a fairly impressive burnout.

Obviously, we don’t condone such behavior. Letting a kid do a burnout in a car as powerful as the C63 could prove disastrous, particularly since there were other vehicles in the vicinity. It might look like fun, but we’d rather it took place in a place where no one else was around.
Things happen fast in a car as brutal as the C63 AMG. It was first introduced in 2008 as a rival to the BMW M3 and was powered by a massive, naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 sending power to the rear wheels with between 451 hp and 500 hp. Unlike the M3 and RS4 of the time, the C63 AMG wasn’t a precise sports sedan and was more like a German muscle car. And gunning that amazing-sounding V8 was huge fun. Come to think of it, it almost made us feel like we were kids again.
