This Is What A Mercedes-Maybach With Almost $80,000 Options Looks Like

The Rolls-Royce Phantom is still be the go-to for wealthy businesspeople looking to make a statement and arrive in style. However, if we had the money for a vehicle to be chauffeured around in, we’d probably opt for a Mercedes-Maybach S 560 4MATIC like the one featured below.

Anyone who has ever sat in the current Mercedes-Benz S-Class will know that it is a luxurious and modern place to spend time. In Maybach guise, things are turned up a notch and this particular S 560, thanks to a host of options, is particularly impressive.

Making this S 560 immediately stand out from all others is a special paint scheme combining Maybach Manufaktur’s Aragonite Silver and Anthracite Blue that costs a cool $16,178. A set of 20-inch wheels costing $6673 per set have also been fitted to perfectly complement the paint. As sophisticated as the exterior looks, it is perhaps the cabin that’s even more special.

For starters, two-tone leather upholstery in Silk Beige and Deep Sea Blue is featured throughout to match the exterior paint. Leather like this isn’t cheap and it’s said to cost $4111. Elsewhere, the cabin has been optioned with a $144 Burmester stereo, a $1456 TV tuner, and piano black lacquer priced at $2682.

Special options aside, the cabin of the Maybach S 560 has a much more modern feel to it than any current Rolls-Royce model. The rear seats recline, there’s footrests for those in the second row, and all the massage functions one could ever want.

Buying a Mercedes-Maybach S 560 like this isn’t cheap. In fact, this example in Europe is said to be worth about 214,000 euros, or just over $242,000 in the U.S.

While I don’t like the color scheme, that’s an absolutely gorgeous vehicle.

    A work of art

  • Yishay

It’s hard to respect this as an ultra luxury car because it has two different emblems on it (all emblems on it should be Maybach and not Mercedes) and the words “4 matic” on the side.

    • ErnieB

      It’s definitely overkill and tacky.

    • Cobrajet

People still want it to be a “Mercedes”. Nothing can override the 3 pointed star.

    “$144 Burmester stereo”
That is a deal, those $7k wheels aren’t, rather get some other ones.

Well, if you started that sentence with a capital it would make your point more valid and not make you look like an illiterate who is in need of guidance. FYVM.

          • KAG25

You really need to stop typing

Is the water-fall grille optional? because I have seen the facelifted MB-Maybachs without it

Someday the owner will be at a light next to a rusty ol’ Dodge Dakota SLT. ‘Hey Buddy that Benz got a V8 just like mines, rite?!’
It is at this point he’ll know the box he truly should have checked.
