As every year on the eve of the Geneva Motor Show, the automotive giant that is the Volkswagen Group holds a special event where each brand rolls out, if not all, most of their world premieres ahead of the official press day. We say ‘if not all’, because there have been instances in the past when some VW Group brands withheld debuts for the show’s opening.

There’s certainly plenty to talk about this year, as the VW, Porsche, Lamborghini, Audi, Bugatti, Bentley, Seat, Skoda and Italdesign brands have prepared a multitude of new production cars and conceptual studies for the Swiss automotive extravaganza.

Some of those we’ve already showed you, including Lambo’s Aventador SVJ Roadster, the Seat El-Born and Skoda Vision IV, while others, we’re patiently waiting to see for the first time in official capacity, starting of course, with the 8th-generation Volkswagen Golf, Audi e-tron Sportback and Q4 e-tron studies, and Bugatti’s one-off 57 SC Atlantic.

The presentation will start at 4pm EST or 10pm CET and will go on for about an hour or so. We’ll follow up with detailed reporting and pictures covering all the debuts.
