For $200,000, You Can Play Smokey And The Bandit In This 2015 Pontiac Camaro “Trans Am”

If you’re a fan of the late Burt Reynolds, and/or supercharged muscle cars, then you may want to feast your eyes on this 2015 ‘One of 77’ Chevy Camaro Bandit Trans Am conversion models autographed by Reynolds himself.

It is currently up for sale on eBay, and the asking price is a very steep $200,000. The ad claims that this is one of “the most powerful street machines ever made”, and with 840 HP, it’s not wide off the mark.

The added muscle comes courtesy of a supercharged 7.4-liter V8 mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, making this an intriguing driver’s car, at least on paper. Other mods include the custom black leather interior, removable T-Tops, plus handling and braking upgrade packages.

Air conditioning, cruise control and power seats are all standard, giving you a fair amount of “bare necessities” onboard. This is actually car no. 74 of 77, and it has only clocked 2,648 miles (4,261 km), so it’s barely run-in.

Right below there’s also a video depicting some of the design process and explaining how the car came to be in the first place. By the way, Trans Am Worldwide isn’t building any more of these, so buying a used example is the only way to go about purchasing one.

Please, it’s junk for that price.

Cool…a car with a stroker engine and toker eyes.

  • Maybe it could have worked with a serious nose job, but this just isn’t complete, looks-wise.

Tough choice, a new GT3 RS or this POS

  • Six_Tymes

pretty awesome really, but that price is steep. on the other hand, a lot of details/upgrades went into this. I miss Burt Reynolds, seemed like he was an honest good man. I think this car would easily get this asking price if some of the proceeds went to a charity in Burt Reynolds name.

80k to be really generous. But it’s nice. Minus the back.

I’m not sure what amount “$200,0000” is, but you may want to fix your headline, editors…

For $200K they need to find someone a whole lot better at doing leather seats… Those look like truck stop pullover seat covers. Sheesh.
