If you belong into that small segment of the one percent that wants a Bugatti Chiron but aren’t prepared to wait ages to take delivery (yep, first world problems, we know), a used example is recently for sale in the United States.

The following Chiron is being sold by St. Louis Motorcars with just 336 miles (540 km) under its belt, meaning it is virtually new.

We first wrote about this Chiron, VIN number VF9SP3V3XJM795072, in late November 2017, a couple of months after St. Louis Motorcars added it to its inventory. Surprisingly, some 18 months later it’s up for sale again. Or did it never leave?

Anyway, as you can see, the bottom half of the bodywork is painted blue while most of the top half is finished in gloss black. It’s hard to accurately judge the color scheme based on these pictures alone, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the paint scheme has put some buyers off. The ugly black bumper pads required by Chirons sold in the United States are also rather off-putting, though we guess most owners take them out.

While the exterior might not be to everyone’s liking, the interior seems to be a very nice place to sit and incorporates a number of luscious black leather components free of any of the nasty blue accents you may expect of a Bugatti which looks like this on the outside (vibrant blue wheels? Really?).

As with all other Chirons, it is powered by a quad-turbo, 8.0-liter W16 pumping out 1,479 HP (1,500 PS). The dealership will only disclose its price to prospective clients upon request; which, come to think of it, might be another reason, apart from the paint job, that this hypercar has yet to find a new owner.
