Ferrari’s New Premium Program Takes Care Of And Certifies Maintenance In Older Models

Just because you own an older supercar made in Maranello doesn’t mean that you cannot benefit from the full-blown Ferrari experience. To give current as well as future owners of used cars a piece of mind, the automaker has launched a new Ferrari Premium program, which certifies that all scheduled and preventative maintenance on eligible models has been completed.

The list is quite long actually and includes all versions of the 360, 612 and F430, as well as the 456 GT / GTA, 456 M GT / GTA, 550 Maranello and Barchetta, 575 Maranello and Superamerica, 599 GTB, SA Aperta and GTO and the great Enzo.

All models eligible for this program will be granted with a Certificate testifying that all work has been carried out the right way. Furthermore, Ferrari Premium takes care of all recall and service campaigns, and includes a package of components at special prices such as the power steering, brake, lubrication and fuel systems. Owners can thus relax knowing that their prized jewel(s) have been well nourished.

With the Ferrari Premium Certificate, the cars that turn 20 have access to the Ferrari Classiche certification. This is a program that testifies the authenticity of the vehicles labeled as modern-day classics.

Every new Ferrari has a 3-year warranty and a 7-year free maintenance. As an option, the factory warranty can be extended for another 2 years.

Cars aged from 6 to 15, on the other hand, can benefit from the New Power warranties that include fixes or repairs for the main mechanical components.

Those who have opted for the 7-year Genuine Maintenance program can get the Main Power, which includes the aforementioned New Power warranty, up to the vehicle’s 15th year from the first registration.

I giggled when I heard about it a couple of days ago, so did the entire Ferrari owners community. This is a joke. Ferrari doing what Ferrari does best, trying to suck every penny from their customers.

The only car on that list that might worth the money is the Enzo, but I’m pretty sure all Enzos have been serviced in Ferrari-approved shops, which kinda makes the whole thing moot.
