An insanely quick, 3,000 HP Chevrolet S10 pickup truck is currently up for sale in the United States.

This S10 is unlike any other in the country and is well-known in drag racing circles. In fact, it was the first-ever street-legal car to join the five-second quarter-mile club and remains one of the fastest road-going vehicles on earth.

Built by Larry Larson, this S10 set a personal-best quarter mile time of 5.89-seconds at 244 mph (392 km/h) back in 2015 and the seller says that it is capable of running times in the 5.7-second range.

Obviously, a plethora of modifications went into making it a three-thousand horsepower rocket. The drag racer is fitted with a massive 620 cubic-inch V8 coupled with a pair of Precision Turbo 98 mm turbochargers. The car also includes a bespoke intercooler setup, Rossler TH400 three-speed transmission, Gear Vendors overdrive and driveshafts, Kinetic Engineering struts/shocks and numerous other modifications.

While the car only ever drove on the drag strip with huge drag tires, it will be sold with a second set of wheels and tires that make it a little more suitable to road use. Not that we’d advise it, but if you’re brave enough, you might want to give it a try.

Larson’s Chevrolet S10 became famous when it starred in Street Outlaws and went through a number of different configurations over the years. At one stage, the twin-turbo setup was ditched in favor of a single turbo measuring an incredible 136 mm.

No asking price has been mentioned on the Facebook post regarding the vehicle’s sale, but it certainly won’t come cheap.
