The Toyota Sienna has received a few relatively minor updates for the 2020MY, the most noticeable of which is the addition of the Nightshade Edition, which is offered in the SE and SE Premium grades, and with front- or all-wheel drive.

Adding a $700 premium to the starting price, it brings black exterior details on the grille, door handles, side mirror caps, spoiler and logos.

It also gets black wheels, 18-inch in size in AWD models and 19-inch with FWD, and is available in four exterior colors called Midnight Black Metallic, Celestial Silver, Super White and Salsa Red Pearl. Inside, clients can choose any color they want as long as it’s black, as that’s the sole option.

What other novelties should customers expect from the new model year minivan? Well, there’s a 4.2-inch color TFT display in the information panel, which is standard on all grades, better sound proofing (depending on the selected trim level), and a few other revisions made across the range.

For example, the SE Preferred Package features Rear Park Assist Sonar and Entune premium audio system with JBL Clari-Fi, Dynamic Navigation and App Suite. It’s standard in the SE Premium AWD and optional in the SE AWD, as is the power tilt/slide moonroof with sunshade.

Elsewhere, the 2020 Sienna remains the same spacious, versatile and well-equipped minivan. It still retains the V6 engine and 8-speed automatic gearbox received for 2017, and the Toyota Safety Sense P suite of driver assist gear is still standard across the range.

Toyota’s US website reveals that pricing stands between $31,415 and $44,310, excluding delivery, processing and handling fees.
